Odysseas Pavlatos is Assistant Professor of Accounting (with tenure) at the Department of Accounting and Finance, University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki. Prior to his appointment at University of Macedonia, he was an Adjunct Lecturer at Athens University of Economics and Business, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, University of Crete, Hellenic Open University, Open University of Cyprus, and University of West Attica.
His research interests include behavioral and organizational aspects of accounting, cost system design, management accounting practices, management control systems, performance measurement and management, accounting analytics, management control and innovativeness, accounting and crisis, accounting and entrepreneurship, digitalization in the finance and control function, and hospitality accounting. He is a member of the European Accounting Association, and the Hellenic Finance and Accounting Association.
