• I received the "Influential Congress of the year'' award at the first "Thessaloniki Ambassadors' Awards'' for the year 2023, organized by the Thessaloniki Convention Bureau, on behalf of the open source team of the University of Macedonia. The award concerns the holding and hosting of the "KDE Akademy'' world conference, in July 2023.
• Publons "Sentinels of Science" award recipient as a Top 10% reviewer in "Decision Sciences" for 2016.
